Nicky Schrire is
a vocalist, composer and arranger whose adventurous spirit reflects her
international upbringing. London-born,
South African-raised and now based in New York City, Schrire graduated from the
Manhattan School of Music and performs regularly with her quartet at venues
in both NYC and South Africa. As a bandleader, she has
performed in London and Ireland, and her sideman work includes recordings by
Brian Adler ("The Helium Project") and Basak Yavuz (also featuring Dave
Liebman). Her debut album "Freedom Flight" was released in 2012 to critical
acclaim. She has been a contributing writer for the South African Association

Michael Verity is a writer, photographer and radio producer as well as a lighting and sound designer for live theater. Since writing his first record review at age 10, Verity has been a major market disc jockey and radio programmer, concert promoter, band manager, record producer, voice-over artist and record label marketing director. His work is regularly published in magazines like Relix, Blurt and American Songwriter and on websites like Country Standard Time and The Bluegrass Situation. He also produces a weekly Americana music program entitled Michael Verity's American Music, which is distributed worldwide by PRX. Verity was recently appointed as a jazz editor for
about.com. He lives on a farm near Portland, Oregon with his wife, a theater director, and his three children, all of whom are professional actors. He has bequeathed his children all of his musical talent.
